How to Convert Pounds to kg

Mass/weight: pounds (lb) ↔ kilograms (kg).

The formula

1 pound ≈ 0.453592 kg. So:

kg = pounds × 0.453592

To go from kg to pounds: pounds = kg ÷ 0.453592 (or multiply by about 2.20462).

Examples

• 10 lb ≈ 4.54 kg
• 70 kg ≈ 154.3 lb
• 1 kg ≈ 2.2 lb
